"The Gin Hotel is a must stay again for me. The Gin is a unique hotel in a 100yr old building right in downtown Lexington. It was quiet, clean, safe and all of the staff were awesome. I grew up in the area but haven't returned in a couple of decades. Downtown Lexington has transformed into a great place to walk around, shop, eat and have a few drinks. The only negatives I would give is parking is tight for modern vehicles and the mattress was firmer than my taste... but that's personal...

Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)"
