"We loved the hotel from the minute we arrived It has a lovely lobby and the owners are so helpful and friendly Our room was beautiful The food prepared by the family was delicious and sitting at big tables with other guests was great to swap stories of our days The best thing was the rooftop balcony with a view of the Taj Mahal I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Agra"

"They knew nothing of our booking via Expedia when we arrived but found us a room fairly quickly. However, the bedroom window was covered in what looked like mud and the fridge was extremely noisy. But they quickly found us a replacement room. Bedroom and shower were perfectly acceptable. Sadly all rooms seem to look out on building sites next door so the bedroom view is awful. The view from the roof however is spectacular with the Taj in the distance. The rooftop swimming pool is also very good...

"Excellent location, views of both the Taj Mahal and “baby” Taj. Attentive and helpful staff, hailing taxis/Tuk tuks and negotiating prices in advance. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"positive : nice clean hotel with elevator fitting 6 people free breakfast : mainly indian fare but they do offer a la carte eggs no charge for north american room is nice size / bathroom is very good compared to being in india yes they have toilet paper !! area is dirty but that’s india … everyone throws their trash on floor lots of stray dogs super friendly around front desk are really helpful door man at all times really close to Taj mahal "

"A BASIC hotel next to Burger King, a short walk to the Taj Mahal. The hotel was on a noisy busy road, the window frames were rotting which made the room cold. The staff told us that a heater was not included in the price but we could borrow one for 400 rupees. Breakfast was ok but they said it wasn’t included in our booking, but they checked again after we showed them our booking. Lastly at check out they asked us to wait while they sent someone to check our room which was unusual. "

"Hotel is in need of some TLC. Reception area and attached restaurant are immaculate. Staff service was outstanding. Room was run down, shower head kept falling off, fridge didn't work, windows were draughty and bed sheets and towels, although clean, were discoloured."
