"The name sounds nice, and it is the only Hotel around of this size in that area, but man is it stuck in the 1970’s! You think they would’ve refurbished it by now and got in to the 2000’s lol. Reception was closed when we got there and had to go to bar to check-in, but had to wait for 3 people to be served drinks 1st. "

"The property for a family was very good with seperate room with 2 twin beds and a kitchenette. Its very convenient to Dark sky project. We arrived late, but the front desk was nice to have the keys tucked in for our self checkin. That reduced a bit of anxiety. Downside is that the interior is bit showing age. The room door was cracked and broken. It looked bad . Wish they had patched up and made it look normal. so reduced star. "

"It's spacious and clean and got everything you need. The light bulb in main bedroom's toilet is broken but the owner/staff was very responsive when we asked them to change it. Location is quite a problem to us as we don't drive."

"Ideally situated for our needs. Within walking distance of the village. Hayden was very helpful on check in giving good directions to all amenities. Personally showed us around our accommodation, a really lovely thing to do. After a busy day doing the Hooker Valley Trail it was lovely to be able to relax in comfortable surroundings. There was no signal for the TV, this may be a problem for some people, however, we were able to sign into our Netflix account so enjoyed that instead. A really...
