"Very good location with convenient parking and easy walk to everything on the island and transportation to everywhere else. Large room and comfortable. We have stayed at 2 Soho Boutique Hotels (Cadiz & Caceres) and I think the chain has a style. They do a nice, but not too fancy, rehab of a historic building in a good location. The rooms are big, comfy and with all the necessities. The result is a well priced hotel that works fine. Not the best or most beautiful, but quite good."

"Having had excellent communication from the hotel prior to our arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady who went over everything efficiently and with thought. The room was gorgeous and the air conditioning extremely quiet. The roof terrace was fab too. Everything was sooooo clean and new. Loved having the kettle downstairs and access to tea, coffee etc as well as fruit. We walked into the town for an evening meal and the following morning down to the beautiful beach. Wish we had stayed longer....

"Check in was straightforward. Our room wasn’t ready but the lady on reception said she would ring me as soon as it was available. She showed us to some lockers to leave our cases. I received a call about an hour later to say the room was ready. We had been upgraded to an apartment for 4, it was lovely and clean and very spacious. "Very quaint hotel - all the main sites in Arcos are easily walkable within a few minutes from the hotel. Some of the finishes are a bit dated - I think it's perhaps more of a 2-star hotel and even the plaque on the outside of the hotel only has 1 star but, as I understand it, the Spanish hotel rating system is undergoing updates. "The property was well located being only a 5 minute walk from free outdoor parking by the river or underground pay parking. We arrived about 2 hours early and were checked straight in as the room was available. Staff very helpful and amenable, they put my ice pack in their freezer. Room quite basic but clean and comfortable and great value. We found the hotel to be quiet but it was not full. Ferry to Cadiz is only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel and the town itself was well worth the visit....
