"Nice place with bare minimum things to cook with but just treat it like camping with a house. We stayed in a bungalow- seems like it’s in the boonies but it isn’t. We lost all water for our stay but was nicely refunded by the host. I would stay again in the big house but it is divided by floors for booking so you’d need to book everything to not have a “roomie” so to speak. We live in San Marcos so bringing things in or showering at our place was no biggie. It is pet friendly but there is a $25...

"This beautiful old home appears to have undergone a few remodels. Overall, the house and our room was wonderful. The location was great—walkable to restaurants, bars, shopping, and coffee shops. There were so many little things about this place that could have been easily fixed to make it a 5 star stay. It’s a bit of a hodge podge due to remodels in different eras. Painting is a bit sloppy and left on bathroom fixtures. New windows with the stickers still on them. A window that sticks open. Low...

"We had a great time at the house. Considering the cold weather kicked in we were still able to enjoy the outdoor amenities. The house was definitely spacious for bigger groups that look at booking this property. I would recommended they put tvs in the room. I personally like to watch tv before bed or early morning without having to use the common area. Other than that the house was fully stocked and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again and recommended this property. "

"I received the wrong access code via email the glamping tent we stayed in. It took hours to gain access. I called and reached out to the facility. No response. I finally got a hold of an Expedia representative and got the correct access code after 11:35 pm "

"Bathroom AC didn’t work and they were pretty dirty inside. Outlet on our front porch didn’t work. Beds were good and inside the tent was nice. Property is nice and well-kept. "

"Other than the mouse we found in our glamping tent that left droppings in our beds and all over the counters, we had a fun stay. The river is beautiful and nice to stand in. Community bathrooms and showers (cold water only) are clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Won’t be going back because of the mouse issue but don’t let our isolated experience keep you away from this river ranch."
