"Fabulous gem of a hotel. Friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and could do enough to help, superb breakfast with so much choice, and comfortable, super clean, quiet rooms. Add to that the fact that it’s in a superb location, less than a minute’s walk to the Castello Estense and the main square. Definitely recommended. "

"Pleasant hotel near industrial areas outside the city (15 minutes by car to the center). The hotel is nice, clean, quiet, big garden, well equipped. Breakfast is not in the dining room, but basic meals from packaged semi-finished products are prepared in the room (biscuits, juice, etc.). If you need it as a base for a short visit to Ferrara or to sleep on the road, an excellent choice."

"Anche se la struttura è datata. la pulizia ed il confort è notevole, complimenti davvero. Piccola nota negativa, che limita molto secondo me, nel 2023 sentirsi dire che bisogna rientrare prima della mezzanotte sennò si rimane fuori, mi sembra davvero fuori luogo, suggerirei una soluzione come ingresso con codice. A parte questo tutto molto bene"

"Very nice apart-hotel with 24/24h check in. Clean and comfortable, newly refurbished, a/c, great breakfast at the Carlton Hotel. Street parking available right in front of the door on the „piazza”. Super friendly and helpful staff! "

"I enjoyed the stay except that the pool was being cleaned in the middle of the day so we were not able to use. The a/c (and all electronics) only worked when the key was inserted into a slot-- meaning we came back to a hot room every time. The restaurant opened late and was fairly pricey. It wasn't a bad stay but could've been better"
