"This is a very nice beach front hotel. Popular place since 70s. Close to the city center with bus/train stations, banks/ATMs. Turtle beach also very close, we can feed the friendly sea turtles and take photos. Kids friendly beach area. "The staff and the property were absolutely amazing! The facilities are gorgeous and everyone was very helpful. It’s only a 2-3 minute walk to the lighthouse and its steps away from the Fort. The breakfast included delicious fresh fruits a local Sri Lankan dishes. They also helped book us a tuk tuk to get to Weligama Bay. 10/10 would definitely stay again. "

"Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners."

"We enjoyed staying two nights at Sun N Sea in early April. We enjoyed both the view of the beach/ ocean as well as the food. We were able to walk along the beach and into town easily. The manger helped us find a store which sells a computer charger. We had accidentally left ours at home. The beds were very comfortable and we all enjoyed surfing lessons."

The benefit of being away from centre is that property was well laid out and spacious - properties closer to beach and centre appeared to be quite cramped.
