We had a flat tyre next morning and the owner could not have done more for us as we were having trouble getting the wheel off, he changed the wheel for us and put the faulty wheel in the boot as well. We can't thank him enough."

"Property itself was ok, however the lady in charge was extremely unhelpful. She went out of her way to make our stay more difficult than it needed to be and was constantly quoting regulations and insurance policies to justify her lack of customer service. Considering we were there for a wedding and booked almost the entire hotel, I feel she could have been much more welcoming."

"This is a lovely if basic hotel in a gorgeous location but it’s very remote and the little lane to get there is single track so perhaps not great in the dark. The food in the renowned restaurant is excellent with menus at €25, €35 and €45. However breakfast at €12 per person offers minimal choice and quantity and some may wish to decline it. Overall this is a brilliant establishment if you’re luck enough to get one of the small number of their rooms."
