"Close to the train station. They charge a "resort" fee which is ridiculous because it is nowhere near being a resort. Old building, so lots of dangerous edges to drop off if you are a senior. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good."

"Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France. Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town. "

"A well-managed property, centrally located, with excellent staff. The ease of parking was especially appreciated. The room was well-designed and maintained. The attractions of central Pau are within easy walking distance. The only downside was the fitness room only opened at noon. "

"Booked for 3 nights. Left after 2 as soon as we could get booked in elsewhere. I understand it’s “budget” but the rooms are more like prison sells. The bathroom was filthy, mould all around the edges, brown splats up the door. Door was falling apart at the bottom. It was 25° when we stayed and the aircon wasn’t working. "This is a great hotel if you are travelling to or from Spain as it is in a quiet area with easy access to the main route. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and large beds. Bathrooms have bath as well as shower and excellent hot water and also complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. Breakfast was very good and the room was very pleasant. "A seulement 2H de Bordeaux, nous avons séjourné à 15 dans un endroit très bien equipe, avec du cachet. Piscine spa, billard, baby foot, pétanque, Ping pong.. tout était là pour passer de supers moments entre amis. Jean - Marc le propriétaire fait partie de la magie de ce lieu. "A beautiful place to stay roughly two minutes from the centre of the charming town of Plaisance. The pool and outside lounge/dining area are large, comfortable and an excellent place to spend sunny days. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are cozy. We comfortably slept 11 people here, and never felt cramped in any of the spaces. The property managers were also fantastic, providing a thorough tour and being available if needed. Highly recommend staying here if staying in Plaisance!"

"What a lovely house and fantastic grounds and pool for a great family holiday. We wanted a rural french experience and that's exactly what we got. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend!"

"We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "
