"The property from the outside isn't as nice as it looks on the photos. The hotel is surrounded by empty buildings, who seem to be "waiting" to be destroyed for a new development. They present the nicer rooms on the pictures, but as we checked in, they tried to send us to a building across the road that looked abandoned. "This hotel is in a great location being on the beach. Nice pool and breakfast was good. It is an older hotel and they dont take really great care of it. I did not have very hot water bur the air conditioner was great and in a good location where it was not blowing directly on me. No elevator and does have stairs. You can walk to some food locations. "

Upon complaining, I was sent to a second room which was also basic and windowless. Finally, I got a "superior" room as in the published pictures but it was half-buried (see picture). "I was treated extremely well by all the staff. They were incredibly accommodating to me to make my stay great. They honoured a late check out which was very convenient for me to plan my day. The staff in the restaurant also took the time to get to know me and make me feel very welcome. The hotel is well situated for the beach and for other needs. I would definitely stay here again. "
