"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...

"The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs. "lovely friendly helpful staff, and the gentleman that was on reception when we arrived was most welcoming cheerful and spoke excellent English. the hotel is well located 2 mins walk to shops restaurants and bars and the town itself is about 10 min drive to ski slopes. the hotel was clean comfortable and charming with a superb restaurant, some parts in need of a little up-dating but overall depicts its architectural decade, and the musical entertainment and free aperitif was most enjoyable!"
