"Very nice hotel, we paid a bit extra and stayed on the 4th floor, a lovely view of the ocean over the tops of nearby buildings, and a very very clean hotel, Michelle and Ashley were the most friendly and helpful registration / front desk attendants I've met, we rented and rode around on the electric bikes, right there next to the front lobby, SO Convenient !!! Will stay here again next time we visit ! Thank you ! John and Diane"

"Once in a lifetime experience to stay in an ancient fortress with views of a charming medieval village. Beds are comfy. Bathrooms clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is much to see nearby, including Pitigliano, Sovana and the thermal springs at Saturnia. Wished I had booked more days. "Upon checking in, the staff person insisted on seeing passports for both of us even though the reservation was in my name and I submitted mine. My roommate did not bring her passport. The staff person was insistent and rude. Finally, when I said I wanted a refund, she relented and allowed us to register. If this is a requirement they should state it clearly on their website and through Expedia."

" The property was great. Would stay there again. The suites were worth the extra cost. Transportation was very limited. Took the local Bus to the train station to get into rome. 16 eur per person. Local resturant 2 blocks from hotel made the trip. Food was great and service was even better. Tony the host at Falcioni dal 1955 took care of us. "

"We flew into Rome after a long flight and were looking for a nice place to crash without driving too too far since we were tired. It was really convenient and charming. The staff was so helpful and let us check-in early! The location is ideal in the middle of the very walkable Orbetello. Plenty of shopping and restaurants very close. What a great place to explore. Breakfast was perfect and they even had a gluten free option. Book it, you won't regret it!"

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...

"We picked this quaint little hotel at the spur of the moment decision to drive up that way because it had a hot springs pool and it was about 10 min drive to the Saturnia Hot Springs Falls.
