"The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! The grounds were lovely with a little woodland walk to take the pup...

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

Downsides of the property were based on the room, we had a standard double. Upon arrival the room was cold with heating off.... why when we were booked in for 2 nights? Due to room not being heated to continual heat level There was mould in the bedroom and bathroom- if the heating was kept on or even small...
