The beds were not comfortable. There was a dog barking all night and men talking loudly for at least an hour outside after the bar/restaurant closed. Not my best choice...we ended ip leaving after 1 night even tho we booked 2."

"This is a beautiful property in a beautiful lakeside setting. Abrantes and Tomar are easily accessible. On arrival we two couples were warmly greeted and quickly registered. The rooms were lovely with a view of the lake and hillsides. We opted to dine at the hotel which is where the only negative aspect of our visit occurred. A staggering drunk waiter splashed wine all over the table and was too drunk to apologize. Coincidentally the same person was on breakfast duty-the day the coffee was...

"Pretty far out of town and near nothing. Nice view, though. Room smelled of cleaner or insecticide. Staff (owners?) friendly and helpful. Pool nice on a hot day. Lobby had a wood stove-probably cozy in the winter. "
