"The hotel itself was fine, bare-bones as far as the rooms but a nice bar with good food, friendly staff. However, the Expedia listing did not say that the rooms all have shared bath. It wasn't a problem for me, especially because the hotel wasn't full, but some people would not be happy to learn it at check-in."

"Great location, exactly what we needed. Juwt be aware that onsite parking is a bit on the tight side if you have a big car. After 1st night contacted reception for more pillows as only one each supplied and they were very full/high - too high to sleep comfortably with resulting in very sore necks. Housekeeping did bring 2 more "normal" size pillows for us so that was fabulous. A stool or something to use as a bedside table on the window side of the bed is much needed."

"While at first we were surprised to find our room had no window - apart from a high one in the bathroom, the facilities were clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen areas excellent with teatowels, dishwash and excellent appliances - though a sandswich maker would have been handy. The place is easy walking distance to a reliable bus service which took us into the city in around 20 mins. We enjoyed our stay very much"
