"It’s a lovely little place centrally located, very quiet, great service. The rooms are clean and well maintained if a little on the dated side. Bathrooms are modern but very small: shower was miniscule (I could barely bend over to wash my feet without knocking the door open, and I only weigh 140 lbs). The breakfast is terrific and it’s really nice to be centrally located. A great value overall but I’d say the hotel rating should be 3 stars, not 4."

"Friendly helpful staff. Quiet clean room. Wish they didn’t feel they have to put up a sign at breakfast that says essentially that if you take seconds it will be added to the bill. The sign puts a negative spin on an otherwise friendly atmosphere. The breakfast room is clean but utilitarian and not decorated with taste which is unfortunate because the breakfast offerings were quite good."

"We booked a stay at this hotel based on reviews and photos but to be honest we did not even check in. When we arrived, we walked up the "hill" to the entrance and there was literally no sign of life. Doors and windows were shut - we did not see any people or hear noises.
