"Restaurant and breakfast were very nice, the staff were very friendly the rooms were comfortable but very small, free parking was good, location was ok most attractions were within a 30 minute drive, however when you get to some of the attractions parking can be a challenge ."

"The room was not the best, bathroom required renovation and in general service could be improved, in fact we stayed for 2 nights and nobody cleaned our room after the first day... we returned in our room around midnight and we found it as it was at 10 am"

"The garage is charged separately and is extremely narrow, so be careful. Seriously! The hotel is 20 min walk to the historical town. We had an issue with the shower and we were immediately moved to another room. Great staff. The heating in the room was not great though. The breakfast had very few options and it was not worth it. The lady who answered the phone sent email begrudgingly and really didn’t want to help. Her response was well if you don’t like it you can ask for refund! Really helpful at 18:30 in middle of Tours!"

"This place is impeccable. In spite of it being in an historic building it has been lovingly maintained. Our triple room had an enormous bedroom with twin sinks. The beds were in separate rooms and there were original paintings on the walls. Breakfast was very good. Stay there if you’re in the area."

The attention to detail on the decor of the whole property gives a truly comforting & relaxed feel. The hotel is in a great location within a short 5-10 minute walk in to Chinon centre. I would highly recommend this property."
