"Hotel was ok, staff were friendly, however having had a 10 hour working day I was booked into here because it had a restaurant, only to discover that it's shut on Sundays. Had it said this on the website we would not have booked it. By the time I booked in I was too tired to drive into the nearest town for food and had to make do with a bag of crisps. They wouldn't even make a sandwich for me. The room was ok but there was a lot of black mould in the shower."

The grounds were lovely and the food was excellent, rustic fare. I would suggest staying here only if you have transport as it is a bit off the beaten path. However, the hotel does provide a reasonably priced taxi service."

"Good location close to railway station and easy walk to town centre and historic area. Good breakfast and friendly staff Air conditioning not “in season “(late May??) so needed to have balcony door open and the street noise is loud and starts very early!"
