"Really cool style, modern clean and quiet rooms"

"Tourist passing through. This motel (doors on outside) may not be in a great part of town, but it was cheap. The staff were great to speak with, and the bartender was quite engaging. Room was just OK, everything quite old, and close to the highway so noisy. Breakfast was 15 and quite good. Stayed there for the price and satisfied. "

However there seemed to be a great deal of confusion when it came to how much to actually charge me for tourist tax, parking, and service fees…which was a little annoying. Also we ordered food from the red to our room. The staff said that they could, and would bring it to our room. When the order was ready they called for us to go and get it. "Wonderful hotel. It is supported by students at a local hospitality college but honestly we would not have noticed. The rooms were clean and large, and the building is historic; even the key was a real key. The breakfast was quite good. Everyone was so nice. Minor complaints: the towels could be better as could the toilet paper! The hotel is also not readily accessible by public transportation. However, if you have a car, it is terrific."
