"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. "The staff was superb. We, having been in France for 3 weeks prior to our arrival had quite a bit of laundry. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. "Cleanliness is ok, hotel is a bit aged. BE CAREFUL of the hotel staff. On one of the days they told us it was not possible to get a taxi but they would arrange us one ..... 15 minutes later a illegal taxi turned up arranged by the hotel staff. We where taken to our destination in a old unsafe car, then charged double the amount !!!"

"Excellent property in a small village. Have stayed here three times & always a pleasure to do so. Dinner is expensive but very good quality - not much else nearby... so treat yourself! Breakfast is excellent - great choices, plenty to have. Maybe not as good as previously... but still very good. The onsite spa / pool is lovely... as are the gardens. If you are travelling north or south past Tours... this is a great place to stop!"
