The hotel is at the end of its street in a quiet neighborhood and backs up to farmland. Plenty of free parking. We had no children with us, but there is lovely open space for them to run about and a walking trail to a small park. "Great view of the Rhein River and easy access to many places to eat. You can hear the trains go by on the opposite side of the Rhein which was OK with us. What was not OK was the two buses of high school kids that arrived the night before we left. Every 15 to 20 minutes until :30 am. It was terrible. First night was great."

The woodwork is beautiful, the food is high quality, the beer is good, and the staff is helpful (speaks English), and are vey welcoming.
