"Lovely and large room with king bed and a fire place. Ensuite was also large. They also put hot water bottles in our bed at turn down - such a lovely gesture. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Food good and fresh too. We also saw a Golden Monkey there too. Nb. Worth noting that the laundry service doesn’t include ironing/pressing."

"We had an amazing stay at Ruhondo. The staff were all so welcoming and kind, particular mention to Jana 😊. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. We had a lovely walk/hike along the lakeside and up into the village together with a gaggle of local children - more and more joined us as we walked 😊. The location is very peaceful and I would thoroughly recommend "

"it is a good stop over to volcano national park. about 20 mins drive. the property is okay. it was well kept. the room was gorgeous but the mattress was terrible. it is hard and gave me backache. the breakfast can be made better. the staff is nice. "

"The Faraja Hotel is a great place to stay! Although there was an issue upon check-in when they were unable to find my pre-paid reservation for 6 nights, once they located it, everything was fine. "This hotel is absolutely horrible! It is incredibly overpriced, at the same rate as a Luxury Hotel, but they have service comparable to a Motel in Rural Alabama. They don't have a restaurant, they have a cafeteria with a fixed menu. The portions are tiny (cheap) and I left each meal still feeling hungry. They do not have internet in the Rooms. "I booked a small single room which was perrfectly adequate for my needs. The wifi was challenging, but the reception worked on it and got it to work for me. Very friendly and helpful staff, the food was good, and they were open to fix us something not on the menu. Its located off the main road outside of the town center, but is still a walkable distance from the business centers. "
