"The hotel is vintage in age, design and decor - so different from "seen one, seen them all" modern facilities. Location is close to town but feels rural and a bit rustic - just what we look for in lodgings while on holiday. Staff went out of their way to be helpful (calling for taxis and food delivery when our phones wouldn't operate) and making suggestions for day trips in the area. They treated us like family! "Pleasant surprise, I had been to Moss before and walked past a few times without giving it a second thought. However, having stayed it is a nice hotel, the room was very spacious and well kept. The breakfast options were surprisingly large and varied. A free hot drink when ever you wanted downstairs, the taxi ordering facility either for now or later. The free use of umbrella`s which was very useful on one occasion. All round a genuinely nice hotel with friendly staff, would happily stay again."
