The reception staff are exceedingly friendly, I couldn’t fault the cleanliness, the only minor drawback was the location, which, while be very convenient, located only 5 minutes away from “Gare Saint Charles”, (the station which has the connecting bus to the airport) was in a slightly disputably area. However I am from rural England so any city to me is disreputable, I’m sure anybody from London would have no issue at all (it’s also only 20 minutes walk from the old port). Would recommend this hotel to anybody who asked, though, (and the air conditioning and rooms were so pleasant I overslept everyday of my trip)."

"What a delightful end to our 5 week vacation!!! We stayed at many hotels in Spain, Italy and Corsica and this Holiday Inn Express was right up there with the best. We chose it for its location near the train station but got so much more. We arrived at 10am, walked to the hotel and the staff offered ticketed and locked storage for our luggage. They gave us a map and showed us how to spend our day. We went to the end of the marina and into the fabulous and free fort. The room was large, super clean, and had intelligently designed funiture with space for 2 suitcases, packs, clothes and more. The breakfast buffet starts at 6:30am for those with early departures, like us! The buffet had cooked eggs, meat & vegetable, cresants & breads, yogurt & dried fruits & nuts, and was clean, organized and plentiful. What an excellent experience we had at the Holiday Inn Express!! Thank you!!"

"Really convenient location for Gare Marseille St Charles. The hotel is super quiet and also a great option for someone like me, travelling alone, I could eat in and not have to brave the streets around which are quite busy."
