"The Holiday Inn Express in Luoyang is a great deal. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. My room was large and cozy and the bathroom was my favorite part (huge gym-style shower). The breakfast at this hotel is outrageously terrific! Every morning there was a delicious spread of Chinese and Western dishes to enjoy. I was traveling alone during this visit to see the Longmen Grottoes and I felt very safe and happy here. I highly recommend this spot!"

Room is spacious and the attached bathroom, except for its open concept of a glass wall between the room, it has all the amenities and clean.Breakfast included was good and enough varieties to fill me up for the day. Had a cozy and comfortable 2 nights stay here."

"This hotel is so characterful, with lovely Chinese interior designs. We had a room with the cutest tea preparation set (automatic water filling kettle and traditional tea rinsing platform, together with free loose leaf tea) and beautiful bathroom with see-through glass window and peony-design wash basin. "Very nice staff. Worth the stay as it is cheap and friendly. You might get lucky there lol. Only problem is it is not super clean, but it isn't so filthy as to have bugs or stains. At least not in my room. Very kind staff, should bring phrase book if you can't speak Chinese. But since you are in China you should be able to."
