"Chena Hot Springs was my retirement celebration. This was also phase 2 of chasing the Northern Lights (phase 1 Iceland, phase 3 Yellowknife). I was prepared for motel level accommodations. "The property was nice, but what stood out most was the staff they were outstanding. Our car had broken down and the town we were staying in was not very big so there were no mechanics surround however, the maintenance guy Logan took the time to get a new belt for us and repaired a car while we were out hiking Denali, Andres at the front desk found Logan for us and was very helpful. Can’t say enough about how great the staff there is."

"This lodge was a shared space cabin style but also quite private. Private bathroom and sleeping area. Shared dining, living room and kitchen. Our fav part was the gorgeous cabin kitchen breakfast laid out on pretty rustic dishes. It is off the beaten path and not touristy. We felt like we were being hosted by friends.
