Cons: all smoking hotel, beds were uncomfortable, the nightlife nearby was loud, the hotel is run down Although this was an all smoking hotel, the staff did find us a room that didn’t smell! "The rooms are quite outdated, but I go here for the onsen and beautiful view it offers of the green hills in the gorge area. Hearing the river is an extra bonus. The onsen area is well kept and been remodeled a bit. The rooms need work, but the important points- comfortable bed and good heating/AC unit are great."
