"Very close to the train station and placed well within walking distance of shopping and the centre. Room was clean! The coffee lab below was a very nice vibe and served quality food. The room was a little loud with thin walls and being a older building, there was a slight incline on the floor which you can feel in bed. Otherwise perfect! "

"An excellent hotel, right in the middle of all the action whilst the carnival was taking place. They even supplied ear plugs, hat and other trinkets so we could enjoy the proceedings. We will definitely be returning."

"Was a decent size family room but the hallways echoed every door opening and closing as well as conversation. No coffee etc although there was a kettle in the room. No elevator to top rooms and not convenient to get to room. Friendly staff"

"The hotel’s location in the center of the town is excellent. The restaurant and bar area has a lovely ambience, but food is a little expensive. Our room was basicit was the cheapest, but it was clean and perfectly adequate. If we came again, we would bring a hairdryer the one that was there was virtually useless, and the plugs are on the opposite side from the bed so an extension lead would be useful if you want to have the phone charging by your bed. "Slow and inconsiderate greeting - took 3 buzzes of the bell to get the gate to open to allow us through to the car park. Room was tiny. And hostess showed no willingness to help with baby cot. No netting on windows so minimal privacy. Television not working - missed the Euros. Bed mattress tiny, spongey and very uncomfortable. Food was great - but waitress slow and lacked attention. "
