That being said it was a nice stay and easily walkable to places. Although it’s self check in, staff were reachable via the phone which was helpful. "

However, for an overnight stop to accommodate five people I think the ResidHotel still offers good value. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lad at reception could not have been more helpful, and the location is pretty good. We also used their secure onsite parking. "

But, No provision to make a coffee in the room or on the premises was annoying as it was very difficult to find anything open in the village to get a coffee. Shower head was stable and water flooded the floor. Also, most of the people in the hotel were elderly and getting over a steep bath to have a shower is a health hazard."

"A nice, quaint hotel outside of Basel. We found a parking spot fairly easily. We choose to take a bus into Basel, which was easy and affordable. Just a short walk to the stop. "We needed a stop over from a long drive home. This was ideal for a bed and shower. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The only issue was self checkin which didn't work and we had to walk to the next hotel to gain the access codes to the rooms."
