"We enjoyed a wonderful fortnight's stay at this beautiful home in the hills outside the village of Monterchi. The house sits on a ridge with far reaching views across the surrounding valleys, particularly stunning from the swimming pool. The owners were kind and thoughtful and there to offer assistance whenever needed. Their recommendations were spot on, especially the gelateria at the end of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence!!! "Great rustic villa with lovely pool and an excellent host who was full of good local advice. Within reach of many of the tourist spots and local eateries were good. Great place to stay as a group with barbecue facilities on hand and farmhouse kitchen. Would stay there again but hopefully come for longer than a week."
