Check in too complicated - I understand Covid but procedures take too long. They do not allow earlier check in - again I understand - but they could have let us use the beach. Check out at 9AM! "The hotel is directly across from a beautiful beach about 100 m. away. Our room had a nice, compact balcony. We asked for an extra chair and were accommodated nicely. The elevator/lift is rather small. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly. "

The staff were really friendly and relaxed, the room in the main building was fine, the grounds are magnificent, the swimming pool massive and the restaurant superb. Only two small gripes. There was a terrble smell in the middle of one night and some construction traffic early in the morning at a site well behind the hotel was a bit noisy but I would still recommend this hotel. It's also in a great position for getting to Siena, Massa and the rest...
