The views of the land are breath taking, walking around the beautiful property and enjoying the pool was relaxing (we had good sunny weather..the pool was on the chilly side but we and eventually 2 other couples all went in for a refreshing dip!) We really enjoyed the intimate tour of the wine making area and did a tasting, bought a 20 year tawny and 2 vintage ports ( we already had been in Porto and the valley...

It lacks some maintenance or improvement in some things (such as the children's park and the sauna/jacuzzi), but the houses and the scenery are great. Breakfast could have some more variety, but it's good enough, the fruit is excellent, apples right from the tree "
