"Can’t recommend this retreat more than enough! Firstly it is pet friendly accommodation which you can bring your furry babies with you for free staying. Secondly my car was broken down on the second day of staying. Katrina the owner offered so much help to us. Taking us to town to get lunch. Let us to check out whenever we are ready. Nice environment and friendly people and friendly dogs . Would definitely love to come back."

However our room had no curtain, the window didn't lock and the light didn't turn on. Aircon was tops. The restaurant and bar were great, quick and well priced. "

The shuttle Bus service that picks you up and drops you back from the Cypress Lakes Resort is awesome. The only negative would be the heated pool and spa were not heated which was disappointing. "Very pleasantly surprised by this little Hunter Valley gem. Tucked away in a back street, it was quiet and friendly. Staff were super helpful and friendly; food was good, beer garden catered to children and place was very clean and fresh. "Although the building needs some renovations the bed, bedding, towels and supplies were good. Easy self check in and friendly manager greeted us. Locality was short walk to shops and the excellent Maitland City Club."
