"We had a couple of nights here whilst bringing my son down to start uni at Falmouth. The hotel is set in its own grounds so feels like the countryside, but only a 25 minute walk into Falmouth centre which incidentally is a lovely place. The staff are very nice and friendly and happy to help, the room we had was good and clean, and the pool was a real treat, and as it’s open from 7am we were able to use it on our last day before having breakfast! "You can tell the hotel is a little bit tired but my room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfy so a good night sleep was had. The staff are all very freindly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was really good. The view from my room was Amazing, over looking Fistral Beech."

"Our stay was a special treat to end a holiday we were already on in Cornwall for the week ending 22/09/24 Everything was lovely & the hotel was interesting considering it was a prison!! All staff were helpful, polite & understanding, plus hard working considering they were under staffed in the restaurant, This I totally understand as I am also in the catering industry working as a Head Chef for gastro pub . The only problem which could have been a problem was I wasn’t asked if I had allergies...

"Lovely old building, and the staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but the bathroom needed a bit of an update as it was showing signs of wear. Bed was hard, but this is down to personal preference. Breakfast was really good, a delicious continental style with quality options; I'm so used to hotels cutting corners in this regard so was delighted with the spread available. I didn't try the restaurant but the menu on display looked lovely. Would recommend."
