"We absolutely loved our three day stay here. We can't fault it whatsoever. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds in both rooms were comfortable and the living space perfect for our family of four. We have stayed in a few apartments in Cornwall over the past decade and this was by far the best. The views were spectacular. See the photos.The walk to Mevagissey harbour, from the path right outside the apartment is a better option than to drive there. The road is very narrow and tight and you will have to pay for parking nearby. The views walking down to the harbour are a bonus. The walk to Portmellon Beach from the apartment was pleasant. It took us 20 minutes but there is a small paid car park on the beach if you want to drive. We walked all the way to Colana Beach where we came across sheep and lambs grazing. Our children loved this as they were so close. We ate at The Fish Grill food truck followed by Ice Cream from The Blue Hut. Both very good and reasonably priced. Crepes at She Sells and breakfast at The Lighthouse Café were both very enjoyable. We got all our pies and pastries from The Cornish Bakery.We will be back."

"My husband and I recently stayed in Corner Cottage for six nights. I picked the property for its location, and we were not disappointed. The harbor is almost on your doorstep. Restaurants, shops, tea room, small grocery are all right there. House is as described, and we had everything that we needed. We traveled by train to St. Austell and took the bus to Mevagissey, which was not a problem. Buses run frequently and are punctual. Mevagissey itself is wonderful! A working harbor with lots of fishing boats. Highly recommend."

"A very well appointed, very clean and super cute apartment with everything you could want for a short stay and right on the harbour side. My only slight criticism is that, in common with other buildings of this age, there is little sound insulation between the apartment and the accommodation above. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. "

"Lovely old hotel in the heart of the village , roaring fire , great menu and if like me you are a coeliac you are well catered for . Parking just around the corner and very cheap Very clean room , everything needed . Excellent breakfast and so friendly , we will return "
