"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."

No apology, had to haggle with Expedia customer sercice for obtain refund (because obviously the booking was non-cancellableat the point they cancelled on me).. "Nothing to like about. Ripped pillow cases, unrecognizable stains on bedsheets. Broken toilet seat, also unbearable stench. Extremely poor hygiene of service staff. Most of all the owner is a physician and should know better about cleanliness. Did not stay, had to find alternate accommodation at a very high price since it was last minute. My family and I have been using Expedia for a long time for all our travel needs and I have to say that I am disappointed that you guys had something like this...
