They also had good knowledge of Ilfracombe and gave good advice on where to go, what to see, and knew what was happening (i.e. where local bands were playing etc) at night time. My room was clean, tidy, warm, with a lovely power shower. If i had to 'nitpick' i am quite a large person, but, my shower was quite small. However, this would not put me off from booking again and recommend to family and friends. ...

"This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point."

"Very warm welcome by the duty manager Ran who kindly took our bags to our room so that we could order our late lunch in the bar. His hospitality and that of all the staff including Mavlouda in the restaurant was very attentive. The same for the bar staff whose names I unfortunately did not get. Our room was very comfortable with a large walk in shower and plenty of tea and coffee. The view was lovely"
