"This was a great spot for our two night stay. Centrally located in Campbellford meant restaurants and stores were all within walking distance: grocery store, coffee shop, bakery and farmers market just a few steps away. The view from the rooftop terrace was great. Riverview and lovely sunset over the trees across the river. Great bathroom, bedroom and living area. Kitchen was great except that we couldn't find a pair of scissors and there wasn't a microwave (but there was a stove for making...

"Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. "
