"When we arrived there was nobody at reception, then were told our stay was cancelled even though it wasn’t. Service in every area terrible, have to look for someone if you want to order a drink. Seeing the rhinos is amazing and could be the only thing that people would travel for. This lodge has so much potential to be so much better but there is zero enthusiasm by anybody on the property. "

We didn't know that we had to pre-book game drives and missed the afternoon one which we had rushed to check in in good time to be able to join but were told it was fully booked. Aside the above, all was excellent. "

"There is a good bit of distance between each of the four tents, so it feels completely private. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. It’s the best of both worlds: the tent is equipped with everything you need for self-catering and braai, but you have the option of eating at the lodge restaurant too.
