"Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke in the evenings and carpets were pretty worn out. I only had one towel, hand towel and washcloth, which was OK because I was alone, but I'm not sure why a hotel would do that. Staff was nice and the hotel itself was clean. Shower had great water pressure, bed was OK and pillows were great. There was a lot of grass in the area to potty dogs, but a lot of litter. I didn't love that the window shade didn't block out more light, as my room was illuminated all...

"What an awesome spot! We were only passing through (in November... during a cold spell, brrrr), so stayed one night, but wished we were there for a week long vacation during season! It would be such a great place to stay when it is warm enough to walk to anything that you might want. We were impressed by the size of the rooms, and the fact that we had a balcony overlooking the lake! We ended up arriving after the office closed for the night, so had called beforehand, and they had everything...

"The hotel is clean and well-run. The morning manager and the woman taking care of the breakfast bar were also really nice. My only mild complaint is that the EV chargers are only the Tesla type, and when I asked before booking the room if they had any of the universal J-1772 type, they did not understand the difference. (My car uses J-1772.) While it would have been nice to wake up to a full battery, I understand that this is all new to people who do not drive EVs, so I do not hold it against...
