"We stayed at Villa del sol for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. It is a relaxing oasis outside of the main city of Máncora. It remains walkable, but the area is under development so having a little flashlight was useful at night. The room we had was charming and really romantic. "Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk. Not a lot of stir, bring a book."

"Laura, Pedro, Exo and the entire Baja Canoas staff made our 2 week stay at the hotel celebrating both my honeymoon and birthday amazing! The service they provided to make us feel special was phenomenal. If you are looking for a quiet place to disconnect this is it. My only two critiques are that it would be great if the hotel offered a on hand shuttle service/on site driver for when guests wanted to go into town. Getting to neighboring towns for shopping on or nightlife can be a bit difficult....
