"The staff were excellent. Always helpful and cheerful. Hotel is centrally located and easy to access. Stairs are the only access to the upper levels of rooms. The hotel is clean and a good choice for people not wanting the “resort” experience. The rate is moderate. Breakfast was included in our rate. The food is locally inspired and included noodle dishes, various proteins in sauces, rice, fresh fruit, muffins, toast, fruit juice, coffee or tea."

"This property is so beautiful, from the balcony in our room we looked out over jungle and it was covered so we could sit and watch rain showers roll over. The main restaurant seems to be permanently closed but there is a little bar with food and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the main road with many restaurants and stores. "The property claimed it was a bed and breakfast, but it was a dorm type of living. I arrived at night and all I saw were single men outside at the gazebo. I was traveling with my family for an emergency death in the family and this did not feel like a safe space for me, my family, or my belongings. I decided to go to Palaysia for $30 more than this price. Do not stay here unless you are single and leave no valuable items in your room!"

"Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. They tried to accommodate me with instant coffee and milk. Workers are nice. Basically for Chinese visitors. "
