However, note that it is far from Bayonne and the area where it is located is basically in the middle of a field, with nothing around (no shops nor restaurants). "If you arrive by car in the dark then its not easy to see the driveway to the Reception nor where you can actually park. You have to go in and ask! Very friendly and informative staff so first class in that respect. Room was fine and good enough but noisy smoking neighbours in next room on the adjoining balcony. Restaurant staff great. Usual disappointing menu but typical french fayre and they still dont know what a well done steak is! "

The seafront location is brilliant, it is amazing to sit and watch the surfers from the terrace bar and the food in the restaurant was very good indeed. "Worst experience ever. Place was completely dirty and disgusting. Spiders and bugs everywhere inside. Spiderwebs, dust and uncleaned conditions. Totally not Corona-proof. Booked two nights but left immediately after the first night. They refused a refund while they did not keep their property clean and safe. Stay away!!!"

"The location is good however the place is in very poor condition. Everything is very old and run down. The selection for breakfast is poor. Our stay was way over priced for what we got. They don’t clean the rooms or leave any cleaning products. They don’t give you pool towels. The common areas are old and dirty. Overall is is very expensive for what you get."

"The hotel were great at communication until they went home, arriving after reception hours we couldnt get hold of the out of hours caretaker, called hotels.com to help and eventually had to ask the restaurant to help find him. Once we found him he was great and was a big help. Room was spacious and they had made up the sofa bed for us in advance. The aircon was in the living room and not the large bedroom where it was needed. Good size balcony and kitchen had great facilties. TV didnt work much...
