"We were unable to stay at the accommodation. We tried to phone all numbers throughout the day, initially to confirm what dinner arrangements we could make and then later to try and find the place. The hotels.com directions took us to a dump site in Sterkstroom! Later we found some signs to the inn but could not locate it in the end. We wasted at least 2 hours! We expect to be refunded and reimbursed for the inconvenience of finding other accommodation at short notice (expensive) at a town far...

"When we arrived, it came out that I booked for next week. However, they provided us with an even better place nearby, that was also owned by Buxton Lodge. Great service, the breakfast was brought to the new venue."

"Firstly, it was confusing because I made a booking for R3000 and a day after was for R2700 so when taking it I only realized that still there was no breakfast on that amount. It was mentioned that still on that first amount breakfast was not included but I was booking for a bed and breakfast. These type of booking fluctuations I thought only occurred in flight bookings."
