The best bit was a cafe offering food in the evenings and booked breakfast which was included in the price too. Very clean and good sized room. Fully accessible bathroom with plenty of room. "Excellent... Good happy greetings when we arrived. The bed was amazing, best sleep for ages. Ate in the evening, no gammon or curry so had to have soup. But, the soup wasn't what i expected from a veg soup, totally brilliant. This is not the first we have stayed at Appleby Park and it wont be the last."

"We stayed here as a family prior to our visit to twycross zoo. It was perfect for us, double bed and two single beds. Plenty of space, clean. We had our own outside door to access the room from so could go in/ out from the car park without disturbing others. Breakfast was delicious. "

"Decent sized room, great bathroom, very clean. I would recommend asking for a room away from the lifts or above the kitchen. We were in room 117 opposite the lifts. They ping every time someone comes or goes and people are coming and going till 2 am. Also being above the kitchen, you have constant extractor fan noise. I booked the hotel because it had parking, and was surprised to find you had to pay on arrival. I probably missed the very small print saying this. It was £10 overnight. We ate...

"I use the hotel whenever I’m travelling north or south as a half way. Usually only arrive and go to sleep. Ive not eaten there yet so can’t comment on the food. Hotel is clean, WiFi decent and bed comfortable. I don’t really use much else. Fits the bill for me and my needs. "

"Was warmly welcomed given room and paid no problems room was on ground floor no45 unfortunately the bar area was quite close and very noisy due to a builders Christmas party in full swing doing karaoke I persevered for an hour as I needed sleep I asked if I could move to another room and was instantly moved upstairs to a quiet room which was perfect So thanks for been so helpful great nights sleep good breakfast so after a iffy start it was a great stay thanks "
