"This was a wonderful place to stay on our first visit ever to Salzburg. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The little artificial artful stream running down in front of the entrance was fun. It's in a limited traffic area, so the taxi guy had a remote that lowered the barrier so he could drive us right to the door. There are some great restaurants at very reasonable prices in easy walking distance, and shops too, though very touristy shops and expensive, but we didn't come to buy...

"One of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had in a while. There's two parking spots directly in front of the hotel to park while checking in. The host gave us clear direction for where to park after checking in, and he was so funny and so kind. We really enjoyed our check in conversation he was a joy to meet. The room was very clean and the view over the river was beautiful. The restaurant and roof top bar is the best place to enjoy a drink or meal. Highly recommend!"

There was an issue with the size of the room on night one and no compensation as the hotel believe that Expedia misadvertise the size but they moved us to a King sized room (as booked) for night 2 and this was a lovely stay. "We found the room and bathroom to be clean. The breakfast is served at the Max 70 Hotel around the corner, it was good with a variety of breads, pastries, fruits, coffee of course, juices… you have a choice to seat indoors and outdoors. The only thing I have to say is the parking situation. There are not enough parking spaces for all the guests, and then there is no other choice but to park at the Max 70 Hotel for a fee of €15 for overnight parking."
