"It was OK. A little dated but the bed was very comfy which was the main thing. The bathroom was a bit of a let down. The toilet didn't flush properly and there was mould above the shower. Cleaners started hoovering at 8 so perhaps not great if you want a lay in. Breakfast was so so...muffins dry and croissants over cooked. Hot buffet was cold but tasted OK. "This is such a lovely hotel and we’ll definitely use it again. From when we first stepped in until we left this morning, we were made to feel welcome. The food is a real treat (haggis bonbons and the fleet iron steak were to die for). The room was a touch of luxury, well stocked with tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and a breakfast in the room. It was all spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We’ve come away feeling like we’ve been spoilt! "
