"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. "Lovely cabin, equipped with everything we needed for a couple of nights. No towels, but we knew that as communication beforehand was really good. The area is lovely, with horses on the premises and great walking around."

"The Cowboy hut was very clean, cosy and looked like it was straight out of a western. The bed was very comfy and the wood burner made for a relaxing atmosphere. The big bath was lovely with a view of the hills from the tub. The site was quiet and very scenic with beautiful surroundings. We had a power cut due to storm Darragh which was sorted very quickly. The onsite shop was very useful with what we needed for the weekend. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful break. "

Amazing bathroom, comfortable bed, Welsh cakes a very nice touch and a breakfast full of fine ingredients - down to the homemade marmalade which we bought a jar! We will most definitely return!"
