"On arrival reception explained that they had problems with their emails etc and when they received my realised they had no ground rooms available. They allowed us to use a bungalow they rent out im another village.It was fantastic, hot tub swimming pool etc. The hotel itself were brilliant and very helpful "

There are many positives which include the rooms, the food dinner and breakfast, the staff (who were just superb) and the owner who was only to happy to chat about the hotel and its history. Breakfast was included and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted to swap from the menu. We have stayed here before and nothing has changed. The owners and staff could not do enough for us. "I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "
