"I had a great staying at Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff is absolutely wonderful; I travelled by public transport and they came to pick me up and take me back to the bus stop. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. The hotel has got a restaurant which is very handy when you have spent a day at the Archive and you are too tired to go out. Thumbs up for Hotel Santo Stefano!"

"Relais La Fattoria was a great choice! The location and the view are breathtaking! It's a nice renovated old italian house/farm, the staff is awesomely kind and hospitable, it's on top of a hill in a little village with a view of Trasimeno lake and hilly valley on the other side! The room was not at the same level as the rest around us, but we got it on a super cheap deal, therefore it was a very good compromise: bed very comfortable and clean, nice looking bathroom. "Very friendly staff. No problem to communicate in English at all. The place is nice with lots of amenities, such as playgrounds, soccer field, swimming pool, etc. Make sure you bring your own stuff, though, because linens and what not are not included and if you need them, you will need to pay a fee. So does renting a remote control for the air conditioner. We ended up paying 50 euro more for one night. Will definitely go back and bring our own stuff next time."

"I'm seriously impressed by how beautiful this hotel was. Rustic, beautiful tiles and floors, doors, gorgeous gardens and pool, all built into the side of a mountain with a stream running by as a view for breakfast. The room was also spacious and clean. The bathtub also apparently doubled as a jacuzzi though I didn't partake. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Air on included. Parking included. Rooms were quiet despite property being near a road. "

"The owner of the hotel Francesca is literally there 24/7. You get anything that you need in a heartbeat. The room is really big, it also had a balcony and a spacious shower room. The lake is very close therefore it is easy to walk or cycle there. We rented the bikes just for €5 for a half day from the hotel. A boat ride to the Island was very enjoyable. "We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable.
